In December

Trevin turned 8!
Mckay played with Gradma Emi's dogs Nikki and Moosey,
fell asleep while eating,
and played with Libby a lot!
Libby helped Grandma, Grandpa and Laura decorate their tree.
She wadded the tinsel up into little nests. Not the affect Grandma was going for.
We took a joint Stephenson and Carter family trip to Salt Lake.
We saw the lights at Temple Square on the first night.

The next day some of us saw the Nutcracker and the rest of the group hit up the sporting goods stores. If pictures exist of these events they must be on someone else's phone. Late that night we went to a BYU basketball game.
It was so fun for Dustin and I to go back to the BYU campus. We don't go back very often and it brings back so many memories of when we were first married and going to school (full disclosure only Dustin graduated from BYU I took online classes from SUU while there).

The next morning we caught the Christmas version of Music and the Spoken Word in the Conference Center.

On the way home we stopped at my Aunt Susie's house for a delicious lunch and tea party she had prepared for us! She always goes over the top to make us feel special. She's great.
And she had the biggest and most beautiful tree!
Later in the month Trevin played the piano at Grandma Emi's piano recital.

What would Grandma Emi's Christmas recital be without Santa?
 Trevin's note for Santa.
Really early Christmas morning. Someone was excited.
I am so bad at Christmas morning pictures.

All Mckay wanted to do was play the phone all Christmas. He didn't care about the presents. He finally talked Heath into playing with him.
At Grandma's house.
Someone is really excited because she really loves Elsa.
Best part of the day - Skyping with Sister Stephenson in New York! Next time I'm going to brush my hair first.
After Christmas we spent a straight week building Legos. I'm not complaining it was pretty awesome!
