All Kinds of Headaches

I'm not quite sure why we decided to build a house, have a baby, and finish school (for me, Dustin finished a long time ago) all at the same time. All of these come with their own headache.
.
.
Sorry these are old. The framing is actually almost done now! And it was really bright outside so I couldn't tell what I was taking a picture of. So I cut off parts of the house in both pictures.
.
.
First off, the actual house is going very smoothly. Dustin and a few guys from Carter's did all of the dirt work, the foundation, and the basement walls. Then the plumber was supposed to come and never showed up. So we just got a new one who happened to be better and cheaper, yea! But that did set us back a few days. Then the framer said that he was a week late, and then he called after that week and said that he was another week late. It just so happened that the job Carter's was supposed to be working on that week had some huge issues and it wasn't ready for them yet so they just stayed and started the framing. So that also worked out well and saved us some money. The main headaches come from the bank. Most of the people at the bank are really nice but they kind of act like they have never done this before.
.
Then, yep! We are going to have a baby in February. I haven't even been close to as sick as I was with Trevin. It has been pretty manageable except for the horrible headaches! I had one last week that lasted for days. I feel like I am living in a really small house and keep hitting my head every time I move. The pressure is unbelievable, so I have to sleep in the recliner to lessen the pressure. But I haven't had one for two days, maybe I'm done with them. Cross your fingers!
.

And finally, school (eww, at least this is my last semester). Everything was going great until school actually started and I found out that my online math class was canceled. So now I have to actually go to a math class everyday! Plus the class is full so if I get there late I have to sit on the floor! I also had to add another hour a week to my schedule for one of my classes that requires that you volunteer for so many hours (which really isn't that bad, but still it is time away from my little guy). It is so hard to leave Trevin everyday for so long. I don't have class until the afternoon on most days but I still hate leaving him even just for the afternoon or an hour in the morning. Luckily my Mom and Dustin's Mom are great about watching him. Trevin heard everyone talking about going to school and all of a sudden realized that he wasn't ready for school to start because he didn't have a backpack. So we hurried to the store and bought him the cutest little Spiderman backpack. We filled it up with books from the Library and a bunch of really cheap school supplies. Now we can't leave the house without it. He keeps saying that he is going to go to the big school with Laura when she starts kindergarten, he is not going to baby school.
.
Apparently all of this going on is is pretty hard on us. Almost every night for the past month Dustin has fallen asleep on the floor before EIGHT. Building a house is hard work! And right now poor Trevin has the stomach flu, for the first time, and has been throwing up all night. Right now he his asleep on a pillow on the floor in nothing but his diaper. Poor kid!
.
P.S. Trevin is the cutest talker ever! He learns new words everyday, and he says the funniest things like, "Oh, my, gosh!" I love it. I can talk to him for hours.
,
P.P.S. We love Popsicles right now. I especially love the big mango-cherry ones. I don't know why but Trevin calls them "Frat-frut." I guess he thinks that is close enough to "Popsicle."

A Hunting We Will Go...

. Actually I won't go it is too cold, long, and boring but Dustin and Trevin went hunting with Ryan last weekend. This was Trevin's first time. At first he was a little apprehensive about leaving mom home but when I told him that I was going with the girls to do girl things (the Miss Iron County Pageant) and that he was going with the boys to do boy things he was all excited. In fact he really caught onto the idea of girls and boys doing different things. Ever since he has been telling us things like "just boys read this book not girls," and "I just swim with boys not girls."
.
Dustin said that he was really good while hunting. He just told him to be quiet once they got to their spot behind a tree to wait. Trevin didn't say anything expect a few times he would say "oh, big tree." Ryan saw a big deer but it got away too fast and then Dustin saw a spike-by-two (or something like that) and couldn't decided if he should shoot it or not. He was discussing with Ryan what he should do and Trevin yelled out, "Shoot it Dadda, Shoot it!" Surprisingly the deer didn't even spook but Dustin decided not to shoot it because "it was the first day of the hunt." That is always his excuse and then they never see anything for the rest of the hunt. But I'm not complaining. I don't have to deal with all the venison! Yea!

Aren't my boys cute in their camo?
