Lets just call this one "winter"

Here's a little/huge recap of our 2015-2016 winter.
Dustin spent most of his time in (or on his way to and from) Kanab. He drove there almost every day for the entire winter! He has about 50 million pictures of the Hampton Inn on his phone but I figured one "under construction" photo was plenty.
We spent some time being standoffish with our cousins.
We carved pumpkins and went trick-or-treating. I can't seem to find any pictures of the kids in their Halloween costumes; they must be on my mom's phone.
Libby was her usual spunky self. She insisted we take her picture with her new Sofia the First amulet, she tucked her mermaid into a bed of jewels and a blanket of a five dollar bill, and she caught a huge fly with her bare hands! She's a fun girl.
We had new family pictures taken up the mountain. Mckay fell asleep while we were getting dressed. We were a little rushed and ended up leaving without his clothes. So everyone was happy and warmly dressed except Mckay who was ticked off about being woken up and only wearing shorts and a tank top in the chilly mountain air. I tried to cheer him up by wrapping him in a blanket and acting really silly. I tried tipping him upside down and tickling him. It kind of helped his attitude but it really did a number on my hair!

Spiderman ate a lot of pizza.
Trevin turned 9!
An ice cream sandwich with some family,
and a burger and basketball party with few friends.

We made cards to send to all the missionaries in the Carter family.
We had a cookie play date with a few friends.
CHRISTMAS!
I reupholstered a few chairs for our new house.

Mckay was just too cute.
Libby read a book by herself for the first time!
Mckay and I went hiking with Grandma Beth and Aunt Susie in Red Cliffs. It was so beautiful!

We repeated our trip from last year to a Jazz and BYU game in Salt Lake and Provo. Libby now thinks you go basketball games to get Dip'n Dots. She had seen them on You Tube but didn't know they were real and was extremely excited to have her own bowl of them!
Sunday on Temple Square.
Driving home through a blizzard,
didn't seem to bother Mckay.
Safe and sound at home doing what we do best, sharing. Ha! I wish.
Our town home rental has some awesome ice-sickles!
Lots of work at our new house. Who needs a roof on the outside of the house in the dead of winter? It makes much more sense to have it on the floor.
Just some more sharing, of chairs this time.
AvRee's first birthday! How do I not have a picture of AvRee, or Heath and Amberlee even on AvRee's birthday. Must be on Mom's phone again.
Libby turned 6! All she wanted was a cotton candy maker from Target. Dustin made all of her dreams come true. She's used it once.
Mckay was very excited about Libby's cake.
Present opening at the family party.
Red Cliffs was so beautiful the first time, that when I was home alone on the weekend with my kids and Laura (Dustin was out working on one of his many small jobs) we had to take another trip down.
Trevin's class put on a patriotic program.
My parents won tickets to another Jazz game and lucky Trevin got to with them! The rest of us unlucky people got to go watch Dustin work on a small job in Beaver. At least we got ice cream.
We got really bored sitting in the truck so we got out and just started walking. My Grandma June grew up in Beaver so we took a walk by her old house, played at huge playground by the pool and then made it to the cemetery all the way across town. We found a ton of graves from my family. This one is my Grandma's parents - my great-grandparents that Heath and I would visit during the summer.
We hiked the red hill or the razor backs, a trail the leads from the bridge up the canyon to the golf course.
It's so close to town and I'd never hiked it before! So pretty and fun!
That is until we got to the end and realized my car was back at the beginning and it would be getting dark soon. None of us wanted to walk the entire trail a second time. We called Jessie and she rescued us!
