Most of October was spent doing really boring stuff and recovering from our crazy September.
In October my little sister Jessie went through the temple in preparation for her mission. Heath and Amberlee were so nice and agreed to babysit our three kids on the temple grounds during the session. Kenny and Jessie's friend Kelsey were also outside with Kai and Laura. Heath has always loved babies and he extra loved Mckay, he held him so much I said people were going to think that he was Heath's baby not mine. So I wasn't worried about them at all. But Mckay decided to make that night his first attempt at being a mommy's boy. He cried the whole time! Heath and Amberlee did all they could to calm him down. In the process they lost all of the other kids and couldn't find them anywhere. They ended up all being in the visitors center but it was a long time before they were found and Heath was pretty worried about them.

It was not a very good experience. Heath has not asked to hold Mckay ever again! Heath and Amberlee were super happy to go through the temple two months later so they don't have to have any more temple grounds baby-sitting experiences.
Libby got all dressed up to go to the temple.
Also one day in October this huge bird hung out in the tree in my mom's backyard. We had to snap a few pictures of it. It must have been in a fight because the ground under the tree was covered in feathers.
And of course you can't forget Halloween in October.
This was our spur of the moment construction worker zombie costume.
Libby would never consider being anything other than a princess.
We never pass up an opportunity to use the dragon costume. Not only did we already buy it, but it's the cutest thing ever and so warm!
I really wanted Trev to be a knight because how cute would it be for a princess, dragon and knight to go trick or treating together? But he didn't like the idea because he had already been a gladiator before and that was too close to a knight.
