Vacation

For Easter we took a trip down to Vegas. Our first day there was a little unpleasant. We decided to try the Rio buffet for dinner. Well, Libby doesn't like evenings at home and she really really really doesn't like evenings in a casino. We had to stand in line for probably over an hour and Libby decided to make waiting in line really pleasant by screaming bloody murder the whole time. We got a lot of dirty looks and baby soothing advice. Luckily it was loud in there so only the people in a ten foot radius of us could hear her. Then to make the experience really great my parents had to pay almost 200 dollars for all of us to get it and the food was crappy. Then on the way back to the hotel we took the wrong exit and got lost in some very scary neighborhoods for about an hour. Not a good way to start a trip.
The next day Dustin and Heath kept Libby in the room while the rest of us headed to the pools for a little sun and to feed my swimming addiction. Unfortunately Libby scram all morning too. Sorry Dustin! Thanks for letting me have a nice relaxing morning. At lunch time we kind of switched. Dustin, Heath and Libby came down to the pool. But it was too windy for Libby so Dustin end up taking her back to the room. But we did get some good pictures before he left.
Trevin loves to swim and he especially loves to jump in!
Laura and My Dad.
Heath, My Dad, and Laura.
Jessie and Laura. Sorry I didn't get any pictures of you mom. I think you actually were the one taking the pictures. Then that night Libby scram for hours again. Way to ruin a really nice day.
The next morning the Easter bunny came. Trevin was really really excited about the eggs. As you can tell Libby was really excited about Easter.
She couldn't care less about her Easter basket but she LOVED Laura and Jessie making funny faces at her.
Her first real smile caught on camera. Thanks Jessie and Laura. Is this the same baby from the night before?
How Heath spent most of the vacation.
Everyone with their Easter baskets.
How my parents spent most of the vacation; babysitting and back pain. Trevin was so happy to get a coloring book he hugged it.
Laura and Trevin made a birds nest on the porch with the Easter grass and a few things from their baskets, but they just couldn't get one of those pigeons to land on it. On our way home we decided to take a trip to Hoover Dam. Unfortunately so did everyone else in the world. Here we are waiting in line to get to the dam.
The line was miles long.
Trevin got too bored.
A bridge being built over the canyon.
The Dam itself.
My Dad by the Turbines.
All of us by the bridge. Sorry Mom you took the picture again. Thanks Mom and Dad. Besides all of the baby screaming we had a really fun time!
